The Company:

Our client is a digital marketing agency that prides itself on being technical, innovative and fun. They take great pride in their company values and culture and regularly host socials and strive to create a working environment where employees enjoy coming into work.

Their waterside office HQ is based in Falmouth, Cornwall and traditionally they have been office based however since 2020 the team have moved to a blend of working from home and being in the office. This role can be remote, with hub offices opening in 2021 in Bristol/London and you will need to travel to Falmouth HQ to touch base with the rest of the team.

The Role:

Their Account Managers are responsible for both the relationship and results with their clients, in collaboration with the specialist teams. It’s a really exciting role and touches on all parts of the business. You’ll be a manager and the face of the business. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager, ideally from within a PR or Content Marketing agency.

Role Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for retaining our clients, owning the relationships with clients and keeping them happy

Develop quarterly digital plans alongside the SEO, Paid and Analytics teams

Collaboratively develop the planning and insights for organic search and online advertising projects

Confidently communicate with clients’ regularly detailing work done, results achieved and ensuring all promised deliverables are on time

Be able to use project management tools to ensure deliverables are on time

Manage internal communications and communicate highlights and issues to senior management as well as ensuring the client teams understand the clients business thoroughly

Own client meetings, making sure the slide decks are well formatted and be able to present them persuasivelySpot opportunities to grow your clients’ business and what they spendThink ahead and anticipate what needs to be done next before it is askedManage time and budgets scoped for clients

Mentor & train Account Executives and help them to flourish in their role and ongoing career.

Support with agency marketing

Work with the CSD on developing a high standard of client service for the agency

Be flexible and proactive, able to take on additional/ad-hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Essential Skills & Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years’ marketing, PR or digital experience, ideally within an agency

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication and presentation skills

A good understanding of numbers

Confident leading a team

Proficiently use MS Office and G Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Technical aptitude and digital competency

Be organised and enthusiastic

Happy to travel nationally & full driving licence
