A leading IT Solutions Business is looking to strengthen their technical expertise and grow their service desk team by adding an additional 3rd Line Support Engineer. This business is a market leader in their technology field and presents a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business. The position will be based in their head office and will consist of giving 3rd line support to their extensive account base. The position will be core business hours and not shift work. The position will also offer the flexibility to be client facing and working on client site.
Main Duties and responsibilities for this 3rd Line Support role;
*Cisco Networking, Wireless and Security
*Active Directory configuration and administration for operational and security schemas, including Group Policy management
*Experience with Office 365
*VMWare & Citrix experience
*Hardware support experience (Laptops/Desktops)
*Creation of technical support documentation (design, transition, operate)
*Liaise with vendors to escalate issues that cannot be resolved in house.
*Excellent communications skills, especially during incident management
Experience required for this 3rd Line Support position;
*Knowledge of Cisco technologies
*Experience of MS Exchange configuration and administration
*Experience of installing and configuring Windows servers 2008/2012
*Knowledge of VMWare configuration and administration
*Knowledge of Citrix XenServer, Citrix XenApp and VMWare
*Strong problem-solving skills
